I do, but I'm retired so closeness isn't a big deal unless I'm going out on the weekend!
I’ve been using a DE razor (feather AS-D2, amazing) for 3 years and really enjoy it, but it’s not quick.
Was wondering about using an electric shaver for the days when I’m in a rush, but from the initial research it sounds as though your face has to “get used to” electric shavers and I didn’t know if doing both would cause major irritation.
Be interested to hear if anyone does both, and how they get on with it?
Sorry for the extremely niche question!

Use both for the reasons you describe
Never had an issue
Braun electric
Muhle R41 DE
I use feather blades when I've got time and a Braun shaver with boots electric pre shave lotion, I got told the same cobblers by a woman in boots about only wet shave or only electric I've never had any problems
I use a Edwin Jagger DE shaver with Astra blades normally, but when in a rush a Philips Sensotouch electric.
Closest shave with an electroc razor I have ever had is with the one blade. Amazing bit of kit.
Yup Fat boy for the DE and Boots battery elec at 3:30 monday morning for an early start - Tenner from recall.

Same here just bought a Braun Series 9 (Awesome by the way) to replace my Series 5 and use a Merkur Futur once or twice a week, my skin feels a great better for it
supply 2 nearly all of the time...Panasonic wet dry if i cant be bothered
Yep - I use DE, straights, and an electric shaver depending on my mood / how much time I have available.
Nothing beats the relaxation of a good Sunday morning shave with a straight, with plenty of prep. Nothing beats the finish, either.
DEs are useful for shaving in the shower - I don't need a mirror to do this after several years of practice.
During the week, I will usually use electric. To get decent results you NEED to buy the flagship models, IMHO. I have a Braun 9 Series and it's excellent. The equivalent Phillips 9000 models are also highly regarded, and are rotary cutters rather than foil. The lesser models just don't cut the mustard.
I'd use my Iwasaki Kamisori every day, if I had the time.
Yep I DE shave when I'm in no rush and use a Braun series 7 self cleaning jobbie when time is a factor.
I can suffer from really bad razor burn on my neck but at present it seems to be kept at bay.
