Hi guys,
Absolute newbie here but I’m searching for someone in the U.K. who could repair and service my Grandad’s Omega. I think it’s an American military watch, the serial number on the back is (2179/3). The wind up mechanism still works but it doesn’t seem to keep the time. If anyone knows a company or person I could get in touch with to take a look at it that would be great. Here’s a photo of it below;

Give ALSAL Watches on the Strand, London a ring. I am sure that they will be able to assist you.
Lovely watch. Here are a few suggestions for you to contact:
Paul Walker who you'll find on here as walterwek1958
Duncan Potter at Genesis Watchmaking
Duncan Hewitt at The Watch Bloke
Hi, It should have an Omega 30t2 inside. I think any competent watchmaker (not just a high street battery changer) should be able to help. You could try the BHI website to find a relatively local repairer if you don't know of anyone nearby. Nice watch, I have one they wear very nicely.
Hi all,
Thank you all for your speedy replies, I’ll speak to some of the mentioned contacts and get the ball rolling. My grandad will be super chuffed if I can get it going again.
May of been worth checking with Omega UK directly, though I think a watch of that age would probably have to be sent Omega Switzerland.
Maybe send the pictures to them and see if they can help? Southampton.customercare@uk.swatchgroup.com.
Hope you get it working again
