    Omega dives into black...

I am feeling a little wowed over by the Omega entry into the black watch.
That dial with that case and that movement. ✔️
    No date too ✔️
I'm sure I can live with the hands...

Very nice looking but far too big for me at 43.5mm.

The new Seamasters at 42mm are pushing it imho.

Too large and 1k overpriced... if it was £5k and the same 42mm case then it would have been a resounding “yes” from me.

Size is perfect for me. Especially as it will wear "smaller" being black 😎

Looks cool, but these are getting bigger for some reason.

Not my cup of tea. Too big, too black, oversized bezel numbers, case colour.....

Brosnan version was by far the nicest imho.

Lovely looking watch, wish they were doing it in more than black at launch. I need the bigger sizes due to having large wrists so it’s perfect in size for me. Cost a little high also.

Lovely looking watch, right up my street- Im not big on ceramic watches due to the scare stories about breakages, however im sure they are more robust than some say.

Hoping mine rolls up in six weeks. It’s on order.

Tried the blue date version of this and was so underwhelmed. The bezel click felt cheap, case too big, and dial just didn't feel refined at all. Much preferred the previous two versions of this watch. For me, it is a miss.

Planet ocean on the other hand is a different story

Too big, too black. Black watches look like plastic to me, can’t see the appeal. A bit like black alloy wheels on cars, they never look right to me either.

It will be interesting to see how thiis compares to the 42mm. The fit may be ok depending on the lug shape.

Wow, £6.5k. I paid £1300 for mine 7 years ago (1 month old from SC). £3k tops for this in my book. Helium valve still looks lost, and hands look too short (I'm assuming they are reusing standard parts here). However, on the plus side, it looks better with the date and it should be more comfortable without the seahorse on the back.

Massive fan of both Omega and black hence why I have a DSOTM Speedy so that ticks a lot of boxes for me.

Not sure why case back alignment is important. Doesn't add any value, but a nice touch.

The cost is a bit nuts for that model though
