With Summer approaching I have built up a few quid for my next purchase, I could probably do with a dress watch in the collection but before I do anything drastic on that front I wouldn't mind a few suggestions on a nice t-shirt watch. Budget is loose but let's keep it sub £2,500 for the purpose of this exercise. Automatic or quartz, not fussed although I'm leaning towards quartz lately for convenience sake. All brands considered ..........

For a casual watch I would go for something from Sinn. 556, 104 etc
Or maybe a Tudor BB 41 with blue dial.
Or a Damasko.
Or....

A t shirt watch? I've never once seen someone wearing a watch and thought 'Tut tut, those sleeves are just too long for that watch'.
Save your money and put it all towards a decent watch, not one for t shirts and one for...whatever else you wear.
I find that a dressier watch goes well with a T-Shirt.
But I also wear crocs so don't take my word for it.
Nah you're not getting me, what goes well with a tshirt? I know personal taste differs bit just looking for suggestions, personally I'd keep it simple, something on a rubber strap, black maybe, with not too much going on colourwise in the actual watchface. I'm just interested to hear suggestions.

Most any diver or beater will work with a t shirt.
Throw a g shock on either, it goes with most casual stuff.
Unless it's one of those tuxedo print t-shirts, in which case you need the fanciest and most expensive of dress watches to pull that off.
What colour t-shirt will you be wearing?
It's just a matter of time...
I asked the same question last year! Sinn 556 I B.

Apple Watch. Goes well with a blue t-shirt with a little apple logo on it.
Tell me this thread isn’t really happening.
I had very a similar problem when I found a £5 gallon of unleaded petrol in the garage last week.
Should I buy a motorbike, an older MX5, or a jetski.
By the way, a £9 Casio F91w and an 18mm nato strap is the correct answer for MX5 Tshirt wearers.
Or a square 5600 Gshock if you have a Land Rover Defender.
Bay watch?
What watch goes good with the crocs ? Suppose if depends what colour crocks 🤷🏼*♂️

I guess you’re asking if you can wear a fancy watch with a tee shirt, or should “dress down” to the tee shirt level with a sport watch…?
I would recommend a sports watch. Now, you can buy a $100 Invicta, or a $1000s Cartier Tank or Santos, both are appropriate. I would ask if the tee shirt is a plain cotton working shirt, or a nice Pima cotton tailored shirt, a really fine quality Sunspel shirt? The nicer the shirt, the less obnoxious an expensive sport watch will look. If the tee shirt is a “i’m with stoopid” or “Beer – It’s Not Just for Breakfast anymore” shirt, go with a Seiko 5 or Casio or Swatch.
The only actual helpful thought that comes to my mind is that smaller watches look better with long sleeves and bigger watches look better with short sleeves...
Hang on one minute there...
I will be heading out in the MX-5 shortly and I will be wearing a T-shirt, but it never occurred to me that I should or even could put any other strap on my F91W than the standard Casio strap.
This is a revelation!
In a moment of what seems like madness, the F91W that has languished at the far end of the desk with broken strap is now sitting proudly on an 18mm Toshi.
Both watch and strap have a new lease of life!
I bought a T-shirt watch once.
Lovely it was, but then the weather got a bit nippy so I pulled-on my favourite cardigan and to my utter horror the T-shirt watch matched the cardigan not one iota! Never fear, I simply took to carrying a second & suitable Cardigan watch to switch to, and all was well. But then I panicked that whilst either of my two watches married to my crocs very nicely, they completed clashed with my slippers, and so a third daily carry became necessary.
Well, dear reader, it was a slippery slope, and now I’m walking around like an Ibizan looky-looky man, and jangling like Mr T on a bouncy castle. But at least I always have a watch to match my pants.
How about a Nomos Club. I changed the original strap for a canvas one to make it more practical and swimming. It's my favourite holiday watch usually worn with a T.
How’s that helpful. He’s not even wearing a watch!
And with a look like that a bet he’d know what would stylish with a t shirt. I bet he’d even how to wear a watch with a vest as well.
Will the t-shirt be coordinated with your undies and socks? Because that would inform my recommendation.

CWC RN Diver, put the other £2K in your pocket. Job done.
If Hublot had made that plastic/leather F-91w combo, they’d call it ‘The Art of Fusion’ in materials and sell it to Footballers for £10,000.
