I loved the 'chocolate' effect on my BB, at times it looks a really rich dark brown. Sold it very recently to make way for another watch but keep find myself looking at them....
I love the matte dials on the Tudor watches. Under low light they look almost gloss like, not a deep gloss mid you but lovely and flat. Then under good light the dial has so much texture it just looks superb! They are cracking dials.

Stop it. The BB58 is well clear at the top of my list and posts like the one from the OP are not helping the cause (or potentially my bank balance).
Lovely watch. Curious to see what they may have a Basel that continues down the vintage line since this was such a hit.
agree. If you like matte dials they are gorgeous

The dial on the Black Bay Red is bursting with texture & character - curved in form, eggshell texture, raised gilt markings, the rose logo...just beautiful.
I love my Submariner 114060, but it looks a bit sterile & less 'fun' compared to the Black Bay Red.
I do like Tudor in general but just cannot get over the snowflake hands.
Coincidentally when putting my name down on the bb58, the salesman tried to nudge me in the direction of the omegas instead, not even close to what I wanted. And unsurprisingly I passed....
