That makes precious metal pieces from other brands look like total bargains!

If your in that kind of buying league surely you can cultivate an AD relationship sufficiently to get one of these at list after a wait?

I love the Watchfinder videos on YT, but they’re seriously FOS. I’ll never buy a watch off them.

Hackett Watches have a Richard Mille for £269,995... I've resisted the urge!

When it first came out I thought the premium would be maybe 40K but this is just a whole another level. At the time my AD said the wait would probably be only 6 months, not 5 years as this is priced at.

Chrono 24 most are priced approx 170-180k. Watchfinder as usual trying to push the boundary.
Id love to know the actual grey selling price.
I doubt its anywhere near the above.

Exact, I drink some weekends with some lads in Bvlgari Hotel who would think nothing of dropping a quarter on a watch.

Basically its penny's when a shot is 10k.

So i’m Trying to read the time on this £215,000 Patek.
I guess it’s the happy smiley time of 9 minutes past 10. Saturday evening. 6th may.
Where’s the bloody year? Is that on the back?

It’s ok. You can buy one on the drip.
£190,000 minimum deposit. £2,083.33 a month for 12 months interest free. Total £215,000.

    Retail price £91,150.
Good job I don’t find it particularly attractive or desirable.

Interesting. The link now points to a pre-sales watch. I guess they had second thoughts

It's totally bonkers but someone must be buying Pateks from there - they don't have any 5711 in steel like they normally do

Just sold another 2 this week, and two more awaiting price today.
It's just a matter of time...

Could they be the same two watches?

It's possible. I have no idea what they do with their inventory. But the blue appears to be a different age to the one previously advertised.

If your a multibillionaire the price isn't actually anything you would skip a heart beat over. For those who would like to make the calculations.

Assume X is worth 5 Billion with an annul "wage" of 5 million.

How would that equate "relatively" to the person below?.

Assume X is worth 1 Million with annual wage 100k........(Then some of us at the lower end of the scale!).

The Billionare hasn't really made an impact on his cash, whereas the other guy has reduced his savings by 200k+,over 2 years his salary!.........so all relative, only beyond the average Joes comprehension and appears "mental",but it's not in real terms. There are plenty people who can very comfortably afford that and then some.

I don’t agree tbh. Most very wealthy people like you mention have people to look after them and would indeed already have connections to real ADs to source new. This is pure speculation and unlikely to sell fast. They don’t go to wf and neither do their people

An insane amount and to me the dial is to complicated. A rose gold Nautilus for me please.

It seems that watch is still available new, even at that price is there a waiting list for it?

Obviously WF sells their stock but with the current levels of stock they are carrying with seemingly absurd asking prices not just restricted to brand new unworn, are they actually selling anything!

Unlike other secondary dealers they do carry a finance facility where they probably factor in their fees payable to the finance company within the asking price and probably makes Watchfinder the choice for buyers who are not cash rich but there does appear to be a different approach now from WF with pricing and I am not sure it is sustainable.
