    WW2 Panerai up for auction

Just for information. Lockdales are auctioning a rather nice 1945 Panerai 3646 - Lot 307? A lovely thing.

    Estimates to £20-30k

    My estimate £60-70k.

Don't think it'll get to £60k in the current vintage Panerai market.

Very honest watch, the dial is pretty distressed, but nice to see the original buckle is still with the it.

Would be very happy to buy it near the low estimate!!

My guess - £44k on the hammer, so about £56k all-in.

I bet you would Mike. It would be a nice addition to the collection. It will be interesting to see what it goes for, but you are right that prices for these have softened over the last few years, but what makes this one different, in my opinion, is the engraving on the back.
