Aaaaagh! Where’s your g shock ‘beater’!!??? The torque of that drill, combined with the magnet in the motor will turn your movement into dust, and what if sawdust gets past the crown seals!? - you need a triplock crown for that kind of construction work etc etc

You won’t believe this, but I plan to strain my vegetables whilst wearing the very same watch later on....

I had to move some bags of wet sand earlier today and I think I may have strained my vegetables too.

Looks more like a bit of DIY with a drill of that vintage

    Working on a Sunday.

I was working every evening and on Saturday and Sunday getting this place ready for most of January.

The girls are up and running now so that’s me finished hopefully.

Edit. As it’s watch talk, this one never left my wrist.

That’s what I mean by working on a Sunday. As far as I’m concerned I should be tucked into a nice quiet pub watching darts/rugby. I have a list of (what my wife calls) “blue jobs” longer than a Leonard Cohen song.

No danger of that, resting it on your knee whilst admiring your watch and not actually using it, keeps it in a brand new condition it states this as correct Sunday usage in my manual.
