    Two sizes actually - 37mm and 45mm.

I’ve really fancied the 45mm one ever since it was released - if one turned up second hand at a good price I’d be quite tempted...

I like the Rado.. but no such thing as a Swatch group limited edition.. they will be in next years sale for sure.. then they are decent value as long as you intend on keeping it

Had the 37mm version. Bloody lovely. They've just announced a 42mm version which should be perfect size wise for most people.

I genuinely didn't find the 37mm too small (7.5inch wrist)

The rake/revolution have a limited edition, 37mm ghost bezel, and the new 42mm is available on beads of rice (lovely!)

I was very close to buying the Rake Ghost Captain version (grey one, above) but the 19mm lugs ruined it for me. Think I’d find that annoying.

19mm lugs - I just don't understand that, unless they are being faithful to the original - were lugs ever measured in UK imperial inches as 19mm = near enough to ¾"

I e tried that before but I’d normally wear it on a Perlon and it’s nit quite right, enough to put me off anyway

No, the one I've posted is the 1962 original. The pillow style case ones are from the 70s I believe.

Exactly. That's the follow up to the original captain cook, which the first release was based on.

    Ghost captain

Just had a little read of the Hodkinee article.

Rather smitten with the thought of owning a Ghost Captain.

One of chrono24 went rather reasonably

Hmmm, will have to keep an eye of for one

Ghost Captain works well on 20mm straps, and a few chunky 18mm NATOs fit perfectly.
