Hmm, perfect. Approximately a yr 2000 16710 with Luminova dial, Lugholes but SELs with the nicely understated all black bezel.
Lovely, even if it isn't a Sub. (??)

Excellent find. I remember not so long ago, my wife told me that she found a watch I bought her many moon ago. She didn't like it and put it away somewhere, to be discovered a decade on. It turned out to be a BNIB all stickered up 16610lv. I am not sure what she has done with it since either.

I found an old peanut down the back of the sofa today. Not really the same impact

I just opened a garage I forgot I had and discovered the Maserati my wife bought me 10 years ago. Sadly is was the wrong shade of red so I just left it there, as I didn’t have the heart to tell her I didn’t like it

I’ve registered intrest in a 50th seadweller Dave so hopefully I’ll get a call soon enough
May get a funny look going to an A.D trying to register an intrest in a 16710

Come to think of it I got a funny look trying for the seadweller;-)

Must admit ,The Gmt came within a whisker of being sold around 8 year ago
When I was buying a new car
So glad I didn’t sell it now though even if it’s just sat unused
The airking is for the Mrs as it’s a little small -but it’s nice
I’m really loving the Milgauss ,Don’t know wether it’s just because it’s new “to me”
But there is something about the G.V version when the light hits it just right the Dial and crystal looks truly stunning in my opinion ,It’s very underrated

You should pop a pepsi insert in that. It would give it a completely different look.

I’m seriously considering doing this -the watch was originally black/red bezel and was changed to black at around 6month old due to a scratch
Where’s the best place to get one nowadays?
I seem to remember Rolex would change for £50 ?but keep my old one ?

For me the best looking GMT in that it looks 'ordinary'. I had a bimetal on a Jubilee but should have got one of these or a Coke bezel which wasn't available. i think Rolex let you keep the bezel.

Stunning GMT, dont look like it has ever been polished and def best kept that way, why has it only resurfaced now??

I only wear a nice watch when I’m off work at Christmas or summer holidays and once In a blue moon on a weekend
My job dictates I wear something a bit more durable and cheap
In my 16/17 year ownership of the gmt I can’t have worn it more than 6 months in all honesty
The seamaster was my first nice watch I wore it for work for a few weeks until I realised it was a bad idea
Again that has had about the same use truth be told
