Actually, in all honesty I'm not too upset given all the work that's been done - big service with all the usual bits and belts, the transmission's been serviced, both rear calipers stripped, split and sorted out (the steel plates were lifting due to Al corrosion, so the pads were binding and really not doing their jobs properly) and the intake manifold lifted to deal with a coolant leak, and various seals, rubbers and gaskets replaced while it was off.

Sorting out the binding brakes has made a huge difference to the drive and I'm just waiting for a sunny, quiet weekend to give it a proper thrash now. If anyone else is going to "Purely Porsche" at Beaulieu next month, look for a scabby dark blue S4 on the 928UK stand...

Actually that hat doesn't sound to bad. The final exhaust box on mine was £1700, (and it was after market - but at least SS - unlike the Porsche replacement which wasover £2k).

I will be very likely to be attending with the 911UK folks.

Yes, a Lotus Elite. It’s nearly done. Should have it on teck for a first testing session in the next month or so (I’ll try and remember to get a shot). Previously owned by ex-Le Mans Elite driver John Wagstaff, this was his UK club race car and is now in the livery of his Le Mans car. Hopefully (!) it’ll be one of the more competitive Elites around.

The colour wasn’t my idea. It’s the original colour... they had a range of “High Impact” colours at the time.

Old School Muscle. Love it. As for the colour it's very similar to Porsche Viper Green.

    What motor does it run?

    The colour was called Sub-Lime.

    No, the Hemi was 426ci.
I have owned three 426Hemi cars... Hemicuda, Hemi Charger R/T, Hemi Road Runner.

The 340 small block was an excellent performance engine.

It’s an Australia MK1 mini all of them had roll up windows it was imported back to the UK when the people who had the car moved back to the UK then I got it 👍👍

Watching the Bonhams auction at goodwood yesterday it was pretty clear the prices have cooled off a lot, maybe I will be able to get a 964 one day! But, by that time interest rates will be sky high and my mortgage will have doubled I guess.

That’s a beauty! Always loved the shapes of the Dodge muscle cars. Stunning colour as well, they weren’t meant for shy retiring types.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

I always wanted a Challenger loved the one in the movie Vanishing Point. Mopar really did have some funky colors on the old muscle cars you don't see a lot of that sublime color here but you do see a lot of Plum Crazy.

The last few years Jeep has been using quite a few of those crazy colors on the Wranglers.
