    Either this:

There's just something about the 70s-ness of a Mark IV that I love.

It's always been the 2254.50 for me, but now I'm not sure I'd take it over my De Ville chrono 145.017. Glad I don't have to make that decision.

There are so many to choose from but for me,the Big Blue would steal the honors. A lot of worthy contenders though.

It'd have to be the Big Blue for me. I still don't understand why I haven't got one in my collection?

But I console myself with these -

Are prototypes allowed? The Akaska II from 1972, I'm still paying this one gets remade in 2022.

This for me is perfection, I don't think I'd ever wish for another watch.

No photos but I like the blue Speedsonic.

They've made a lot of great looking watches, though, especially back in the 70s.

My favourite (from 1997/98) is the 3593.20.00 Speedmaster Italia aka the Albino aka ST 345.0818 or 145.0818 when supplied on a leather strap.

I've borrowed this photo from a Speedy Tuesday article on www.fratellowatches.com:

Lovely - more info on each would be great

One of my 2019 purchases will be an Omega gold filled dress watch - just need to find the right one at the right price - they seem to be becoming more popular and you can see why

I think 1000M but the Big Blue is definitely up there. One of the very few watches I've bought back (2254 was another).

I'm very fond of the Speedy 125 too, same layout as the Big Blue.

A vintage PloProf works too, same dial and hands as the 1000M but a more interesting case

    I still fancy another 2254

Thanks and yes, apart from the 2254 and PloProf, both of which I'd be very happy to have again.

In all honesty for me it's the Constellation Pie Pan, however I don't have one so I'm going to post this as I think that the bracelet alone is a work of art.

I would disagree (politely). That's a classic design.

The Constellation is a 1963 Pie Pan ref 167.005 (an early Genta design) the other two are both 36mm ‘jumbo’ ref 2639 from the 1950s.

Can’t really choose which one I prefer the look of but I’m just happy I have managed to acquire both, a 1974 145.022.71T and the classic 2254.50..
