Stunning aren’t they.
....wow, some amazing pictures.
Balls of steel.... or rather a total lack of them in this particular case. Respect to Ocean Ramsey and the team.

That seems like lunacy IMO. How can anyone predict what the shark might do next, it could simply bite them in half at any minute. I can get the thrill the divers must have felt, but not for me tbh. Stunning images non the less.

Incredible, the size of them is scary
Lunacy. Even ickle pets can be dangerous . . .

Fantastic creatures, but you wouldn't get me in with one for all the watches on TZ, well maybe for that.
An incredible experience with a fascinating creature of the deep.
If that was me swimming I’m sorry to say the water would not be as clear as that!
Crazy the size of them things, gotta have guts to do that
Older pregnant ladies more placid apparently. Still, respect.
But could all change once the waterskiing acrobats pass by...

Amazing pictures
The encounter wasn't planned - the great white swam up whilst they were working with some tiger sharks.
I’ve a friend who regularly dives with sharks.
It’s a case of understanding their body language and not doing so at or near feeding times (usually around dusk).
There are also plenty of documentaries about the subject.
Still wouldn’t get me in there though!
We're gonna need a bigger boat...
When they described it on the radio this morning I was trying to picture it in my head. Now I've seen the photos i was clearly some way off.
A stunning animal.

Sharks do indeed demonstrate body language and it's useful to understand their movements if you're nearby, equally you can influence them by adopting your own body movements. I'm no expert at this, but I've learnt enough do's and don't to help with my own encounters when photographing them.
As an aside, there was a 16ft GWS recorded off Majorca last year by a friend of mine.

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
I’ve watched the video and it’s pretty amazing stuff. However the stills just look like the shark is a lot closer to the camera than the diver (I know from the video it is enormous) - looks like a fake picture (which isn’t ) if you know what I mean
