Still all about the dial.
Steel 43mm Pioneer case, 120m WR with bracelet and unidirectional bezel, auto, blue fume dial and - for once on a Moser - minute markers.

That looks great.

Lange should take note; they need a sports watch.
I think 99% of their output to date is pure class, but this just looks like an Argos bargain-bin special
Looks lovely and I would imagine, very expensive.
Very nice , quite sizable. The bezel is relatively slim so there will be lots of that lovely dial to see .
Price ?
Here's another photo. Limited to 50 pieces. Price is around $16,000 to $17,000 but still not confirmed.

Looks great, but why so big? Bring back 40/39mm sport watches.
I'm now imagining it with their perpetual calendar movement....
...but maybe not
Is the lighting at SIHH designed to ensure every single photo that comes out of the place looks awful?
That does look gorgeous. I would like a strap option at that price.
I sent an IG message to their CEO about this yesterday as I am interested in that bracelet. If it fits the standard Pioneer case (which I think it will given that sizing is the same) then it would give a really great option.
Here’s hoping !!!!
Didn't they come up with this one just before SIHH?

I like the cut away lug design.
Perhaps it would be best to be thinking of this as a luxury watch in the form of a sports watch, rather than as a replacement for an SKX
It’s unusual to see a diving watch with a blue sunburst dial. And now I know why.
Dial beautiful without question but that doesn’t work for me at all. Too much of a clash of styles/types for me. Pity.
I’d buy it, but I’m a Moser fanboy.
In fact i may buy it.
Pros
-good design choice on not having a bezel that takes the focus from the dial.
-will wear smaller than the vanilla pioneer since its not all dial
-bezel adds case height, the perpetual pioneer wears nicer than the center seconds due to the added thickness
Cons
-the hands, the half pioneer hands look better (granted better lume with these)
-I wish it was 40-41mm it’d be a stunning daily
-prefer the minimalist lume dots, so the minute track should go.
It’s an alternative to a Turn-o-Graph rather than a Submariner, I think. Reminds me of the Tutima Pilot Fx
I like the idea of a smart watch with a slim bezel but I don’t think the hands suit it.
The bezel insert is the wrong colour and clashes for me - I’d like to see a mock up with different colour dials and matching bezel insert colour.
It's just a matter of time...
The dial's beautiful but the bezel looks all wrong, I'm afraid...
Looks like a dress watch in drag.

looks a bit silly, neither fish nor flesh, suggest's the moser folk didn't really comprehend the needs of a 'sports' watch.
hehe!
I've posted this pic before, but I can't help feeling that if you're going to the trouble of producing a fumé dial you should let the dial do the talking..
This feels avant-garde but also a natural extension of where they've carefully positioned themselves in recent years.
The sport watch feels like a concession of some sort to me.
They make very attractive watches, in very small numbers. Which raises the question....do beautiful watches actually sell. Because if you look at the really big sellers....such as Rolex and Omega....are their watches beautiful? Masculine, rugged, ‘sporty ‘ and so on....but beautiful?
A bit strange that this is not being reported on by any watch sites. Only seen the IG video linked above and one youtube video

Agree with others here that it is a bit underwhelming. Design feels almost too traditional for a Moser. Would've thought they would be a bit more original when doing their first dive watch.
Well i've a few Mosers now, so someone's buying them,..... that said I do also have a bunch of manly watches.
However i do think there is a certain "watch community" bias towards more masculine watches, so the beautiful ones get sidelined by the latest sub alike incarnation (and related list/warranty card discussions)
It's a rarity to see a discussion thread on Laurent Ferrier/Journe/Moser etc. which is a shame and i've always wondered if there's a perception that a beautiful watch is less rugged for daily use? (and as a result passed on for a more "durable" option)
or is it that the cost of entry means its financially more "sensible" to just go with a known brand like Rolex/Patek.
I have to admit to being a fan of Moser and recently tried on the Pioneer Centre Seconds on the rubber strap. For someone looking for a sporty watch that doesn't have a diver feel and sits under the radar I feel it's a great option and priced fairly when you factor the quality.
Unfortunately for me the 43mm size is just too big.....should they release at 39/40mm I would likely find temptation too difficult to resist.
To be honest, the bezel spoils it for me on the first post but the perpetual calendar wish works very well

It looks like it has speaker grilles on the sides.
11 months later, an explanation of what happened with this watch:
One of the watches that flew under the radar this year was a diver with a “ghost” bezel and a fume dial. I caught a glimpse of it on Instagram. What happened to that?
We didn’t want to launch it, but it kind of launched itself by accident.
Remember a year and a half ago, we created the Swiss Icons watch with a rotating bezel and metal bracelet? Well, that backfired [and Moser was forced to withdraw it] so instead we created a few of these divers which were a little bit different, more muted with a “funky blue” dial.
We had no intention of commercialising it, but at SIHH we left it on a tray of prototypes to show retailers and get some feedback. The problem was somebody left it on the wrong tray, so when I looked at the sales report, I was like, what is this reference? The team was telling me how it was a great success, and that they sold 50 pieces.
So we had no choice but to deliver them, and they are now sold out. We didn’t announce it to the press, but people still came to me and asked about this watch.
At least, that's their story. Furthermore....
Will you eventually produce a variation of it?
No, it is just those 50 pieces. That’s it.
It wasn’t what I wanted as the first Moser with a metal bracelet because we are working on a watch with an integrated bracelet.
Launching a variation of that or another diver is not in the pipeline. I had the idea of creating the most minimalist diver, but not now, maybe one day.
We are working on a model with a 120m depth rating, but not an actual diver.
