Thread: Rolex 78360 braclet availability from ADs?

Rolex 78360 braclet availability from ADs?

I’m looking to put my 1016 onto a bracelet, having worn it on a strap since I purchased it 8 years ago.

Can someone tell me whether it is still possible to purchase the 78360 oyster bracelet (and also the 580 endlinks) from a Rolex AD, and if so, how much is the current list price for the setup?

    Many thanks,
    Gareth

The 78360 is certainly available, and those end links I think. You may well be able to find a good second hand one for a few hundred pounds, with a little effort.

May we see a picture of your 1016 please? It is a desirable, classic model. Value may not matter to you, but all have done well in recent years and some variants are worth much more again.

I purchased two new 78360's in 2017 £750 each from memory without end links...

Yes, pictures always brighten a post! Here they are; the one on the left is from 1985, UK unworn with the original caseback sticker in place. My daily wearer is the one on the right, circa 1971 with later dial and hands from a 1978 Rolex service.

Thank you, that’s not as much as I was expecting! :)

By coincidence, Watchfinder have a 1985 1016 at the moment, in "Very good (Worn with little to no signs of wear)" condition. £15,750.

I bought a pair of 580 ends from Michael Spiers September last year for £55

Lovely watches. I'm very jealous. That ship has sailed for me I'm afraid. I'll have to settle for a 14270 I think.

    I bought a 78690 for a 114270 from Rolex. Cost £1000.

    Perfection right there

It looks so much better on the bracelet in my humble.
