So What Did You Order Today?

Thought it would be interesting to find out who ordered what on the 1st Day of Shop Opening after the Christmas/New Year Period.

    For me it was:

    1) Dreadnought Voyager GMT PRS-21

Nothing, but that Voyager is mighty tempting.

Two Aerotimers here: one for me, one for the boy. A long time since I've bought a watch and even longer since I bought a brand new one.

Argh! Decided I'd buy today after all, but ordering has already been disabled!

    Oh well, maybe next week

Just look at it as good news, you save some money and it means that Eddie has filled his quota that he can pack in the week, which means cashflow is up, so more TF projects coming into reality.
Roll on the Caribbean (and the 36mm Everest white dial).

Yes, of course it's good news for Eddie (I know he's a one man band, so it makes a lot of sense to manage the order backlog to keep everyone happy, no quibbles here) and in a way it's good for me as I could do with spreading the financial load a little, too.

I just hope all the Omelettes haven't gone already!

KAS, the message says closed until next Tuesday (22nd).

Speedbird. And according to my clock the shop opened 30 seconds early and I was on it.

Being in timezone GMT-5 I'm going to have to wait for the interest to die down before I can place an order. No chance of getting up at or staying up until 2.30am during the work week :-(

I also live in the States and work long hours, which means I will never catch the opening window at 1:30 am my local time. I guess I will just have to wait.

Aerotimer ordered. No shipping notification but that's fine by me and I didn't expect it to go out same day. I'm working from home Thursday so if it went out tomorrow, I'd be happy but I've been watching this one from the start so an extra day or two is neither here nor there.

PRS-22 with the current dial (Speedbird inscribed) ... managed to resist the PRS-45 at the same time although it looks very nice, will be sensible and move on something that I'm not wearing and then think again about that one.

PRS-22 is much delayed in the sense that this was the watch that via a reference on another forum first bought me to this site around 10 years ago ...

Ordered the small Everest. I have a Speedbird III. The hands on the original Speedbird never appealed to me. I had an original Everest, but we never got on.

    Yes. On the way.

Might get an Everest next week. Setting the alarm for 2am and getting up for a half hour shows how crazy this hobby has gotten.

I missed out and got the equivalent of the blue screen of death. Apparently the site received too many orders and closed. The sales window will reopen next Tuesday.

About the same time as I did. Trying to explain to your wife why you have to get out of bed at 2am to buy a wristwatch is just a bit awkward.

Managed to get to the order page on Tuesday, got called away to do something and by the time I got back and tried to choose a postage method I had missed the window. Next Tuesday it is then...
