    This year's aims

    Evening all,

So pretty new member here, been an observer of nice watches for a very long time and a couple of years back brought my first 'nice' watch

A Breitling Navitimer 1884 edition (picture attached)

And I think I've been caught by the 'bug' now and I've been looking around for my next purchase as well as saving a little fund to support

I've now narrowed in on two watches I'm going to be looking out for this year:

A Tudor Black Bay Bronze on the green and gold NATO
    https://www.tudorwatch.com/watches/b.../m79250bm-0004

A Blue dial Breitling SuperOcean Heritage on the steel bracelet
    https://www.breitling.com/gb-en/watc...AB2030161C1A1/

So question out to the wise and experienced and pointers or tips on what to look for, I've been looking for the Tudor new but most ADs seem to be on order only, and the SuperOcean I'll keep an eye out in the classifieds (once I get access) and on Chrono24

    Cheers

    Ritchie

Tudor Black Bay Bronze may be available in stock at some ADs - I know for a fact there’s currently one in Brent Cross and the nice lady I spoke to indicated that she might be able to ‘do something’ on the price, too.

    This year's aims

    It’s in Ernest Jones, btw...

Mind you, I’ve just noticed that you’re in South Wales so my contribution may be monumentally unhelpful!

Really like it on the green canvas strap, it's really comfortable as well

Got the brown leather strap as well so can change it up if and when needed

The lady in the shop was really good and explained why you don't see many in the window, which to stop the bronze patina before purchasing

The brown leather strap is superb
It is so much better than the leather you get on a black bay 41

Yes it's lovely on the leather. I have a well-publicised aversion to NATOs, but notwithstanding that I think the Bronze deserves to be on the leather strap...

    Good catch.
