Dickinson’s real deal - rolex LV coming up right now

Just seen this flash up, will be on after the adverts....there’s was some suggestion in the preamble it may not be genuine and “let the auction decide”

Missed the beginning of that. Didn't have correct box or papers - highly doubt it was genuine.

Strange the watch came in an old fashioned Rolex presentation box?

Apparently they had a 'specialist' come in to verify it was genuine..

Does the buyer have comeback against the auction house if it's proved to not be genuine?

Which auction house was it ?

I hope this was a few years ago as it pithed as a stonking deal!!!

I bet the car she bought for her son with the £3k has gone in exactly the opposite direction as the hulk!

Surely a good deal if verified via auctioneer as genuine, it looked to be in very nice condition.

In the credits it said auctioneer was Craig Bewick.

    Golding young & co, Grantham?

Did they confirm it was a genuine LV or just a genuine rolex that has been modded? I imagine they just confirmed it's a genuine Rolex

    Looks like this lot :

    https://www.goldingyoung.com/Lot/?sa...t=15&id=600275

If so, fake box and booklet I think . . . that doesn't smell good, but I believe that the watch is genuine.

Case number appears to be 7J39U397.

wonder what sort of person would get fake papers for a genuine watch, even if the original papers were lost

Indeed, it just makes the entire package seem dodgy.

Reading between the lines, the listing doesn’t mention the booklet at all, and doesn’t refer to the box as a Rolex box, only an ‘associated’ box.

How did the seller say that he had come to own the watch?

Before your tenure HM, slightly ‘eccentric’ member who had a blow up over a fake white gold sub.

Someone will have a pointer to the thread in q I’m sure

    TMS = Tai Me Shu

Trans-gender individual who flew to Monaco in a helicopter whilst wearing a fake white gold sub which was a ‘loan watch’ from an AD whilst her original watch was ‘on order’. I believe that screenshot is actually her.

    As entertaining as Dawson2k.

If anyone wants to watch it again, it's on ITV hub (last 5 mins)

    And a couple pics.

Thread deviation to TMS, that's a blast from the past!

Just read through the old threads and reminded myself of the comedy value esp. the members who defended that twisted POS
