I Rather like that. I remember years ago a Glycine chrono with that shape case but no colours. The colours would for me be the reason to have one of these.

    It's not a casual friday:

Photo was taken yesterday, but it's still valid today.

Hi there, it's an SBDC053 with a twist. It has a Yobokies ceramic lumed bezel insert and alternative handset. The changes were prompted by a misalignment of the original bezel and a desire to see more of the wonderful dial on this watch. The original handset has a bit of a stubby hour hand and these are more in tune with the hands on the 60's watch this is based on. It's a bit of a dark photo but I love how it's turned out. Regards, Russ.

Same as last week, never thought the UX would leave my wrist, leaving the other watches sat in their boxes, however the UX now joins them for the moment.

Love this, just wish I’d known the spring bars were weird in it, as dying to put it on a NATO now, nearly 3 weeks without changing the strap must be a record for me!

Thanks, both. If I were to be entirely honest, it's probably the most perfect one watch solution out of everything i have, so may well end up being my only watch at some point.

Good looking, accurate, tough, comfortable... I can't bring myself to wear anything other than a quartz Seiko at the minute.

Plenty of lovely watches today, I particularly like the Ming and the Seafire.

Easy choice for me today as I haven't worn this in a week.

    Have a good weekend.

It is a shame you are 4hrs away as I would be happy to loan you it for a few days. I shared your concern over the pushers but took a chance and bought one blind. In person the pushers are a non-issue, they are bold but in proportion and balance the watch nicely. I would not want them to be any smaller. It is a superb watch, the GS finishing and dial quality on a 44m chrono is just so much fun to wear and admire, +/-2 sec a month is a nice bonus. If you were to use the chrono function as intended, the solid pushers and butter feel of the spring drive movement all just adds to the exquisitness. In a word do it!
