    Mr Jones watches

I have been surfing the net, as you do, and came across Mr Jones watches. At first I just dismissed them out of hand, but on closer inspection I am intrigued.
Anyone here have one or had one??
Im particular interested in the Last Laugh Tattoo XL, as its a jump hour and the actual time indicators are relatively small, telling the time is not high on my requirements with this one, just like the look of it really.

I've walked past his/her/their shop on Southbank a few times. The prices for a brick and mortar store always struck me as frankly too low to be any decent given the location! I'd be really interested to know how they are in reality as I do rather like some of the designs.

Is this a British watch, because the best price I can find is here in the UK, when it seems to be more easily found within Asian markets?

Well, if you’re going to buy a fashion watch then you might as well really go for one...

The single handler moon phase is a strangely attractive novelty.

I have no idea where they're made, I assumed the Far East given the prices but they state on their website 'Mr Jones Watches design and build unusual watches in the UK' https://mrjoneswatches.com/

Now whether they design and make in the UK the watches they sell is another matter!

Edit: In the video posted later on in this thread, Crispin Jones states that 'We do all of the limited edition production here in London' so that implies the non-limited editions are not. He also states that the printing and assembly are done in London, implying that the non-limiteds are manufactured elsewhere, with final assembly in London and any dial printing done in London also.

I can't tell you about the quality of the watches but Mr Jones is a member on the MWR forum and is a genuine watch enthusiast and collector, a watch maker himself and a nice chap. I have no connection to the business in any sense, just know Mr Jones a little through the forum so thought I would add it in. They are wacky watches for sure!

Can't really comment as this is a public area of the forum.

There's a number of those I'd wear, especially the number cruncher. They look like a bit of fun and not to be taken too seriously and the edition where you can have a date on the hands would seem particularly good for those who can't remember wedding anniversaries...

That’s how I view them really, different and fun, too easy to get much too serious about watches and deride them for their novelty factor, I reckon they would get way more attention than most conventional watches.

There's a Vintage section for the less frivolous watches.

I think there four or five on there I’d happily wear. Mind I like things like the hublot(?) skull watch and some of the Corum stuff, I’d be wary of spending thousands on them though. These, however, for the cost I’d have no qualms about picking one or two up as something a bit different (and may well yet...)

Dropped in on these about 12 months ago (highlighted on an American forum). Didn't like them then but now I'm warming to the fun element. But my favourite TV series was 'Bottom' with Rik Mayall!
