I can hardly believe this myself.
Went off to enjoy a great holiday this month and missed the opportunity to buy one of these watches whilst there. It arrived along with a number of other sports watches at the dealers just a couple of hours before we landed. Rather than the normal practise of hiding it away while customers on the list are called, this one was put on display. I checked this quietly and separately with a few members of staff who all confirmed that on this occasion all of the delivery went straight into the cabinet.
I was that close that I had the opportunity and good grace to shake the hand of lucky new owner as he walked out of the shop.
I’m keeping in contact with several staff at this branch, plus very tempted to enjoy another holiday there too!

I think in any case that must be a unicorn sighting :D Last time I inquired I was told the lists were shut at every AD I visited (but tbf, I don't have a history with any dealer where I live)

I was in the duty free in Dubai, maybe 3 or 4 years ago and they had a BLNR and a DSSD JC, sitting side by side in the cabinet.
As i put my hand in my pocket, I felt that cold stare from my wife, that told me all I needed to hear.
Sad to say, I left without them both.................
You need to show her a few examples of those watches on watchfinder now and remind her that she wouldn’t let you buy them thousands of pounds cheaper 😄

They’d also had a green sub that had sold but still had a sea-dweller and a Deepsea in the cabinet, both took a further five days to sell. Already have JC, hence they were not of interest to me

I’ve just experienced the thread equivalent of watching paint dry.
I don't even know what I've just read. Seems to be the weirdest love-in of all time.
I tried a Cameron DSSD in one of their outlets a few years ago when it first came out. They also happily move their stock amongst stores and seem to get a lot of interesting stuff in.
While I was there and the watch was sat on the jewellers mat on the counter while I talked to the retailer, a complete **at in a white tracksuit walked over, picked it up and tried it on without saying a word. He then asked if they do that model with diamonds in it as it was too plain and put it down when the guy said they didn't and that he was busy serving me. I didn't buy the watch as I didn't like the balance on it and I'm not one to buy a watch just to flip it.
