If an ETA movement I would have thought any independent could service it.
The usual favourites on here would be able to help out I am sure.
My Oris Depth Gauge is running slow, normally it wouldnt bother me too much but I figured I’d better get it sorted sooner rather than later.
Speaking to Oris servicing in Bolton, they’ve informed me I’d need to send it off to Switzerland, which is OK I suppose but wondered if anybody had any other recommendations or have had theirs done by an independent service centre.
Thanks

It depends, do you use the depth gauge function if so I'd be sending it off to Oris, I suspect the depth gauge is a sealed bourdon tube type, though to be fair sinnlover's suggestion does make sense.

No moving parts to the depth gauge, it's just a channel for water to enter and be compressed so anyone that can service a Sellita SW500 can do that watch. Bizarre for them to say it would have to be treated differently to any other Sellita based Oris.

Right, so the weirdest thing has happened .
I adjusted the watch forward last weekend for a trip and it’s not dropped at all since .
It’s not like I don’t have to reset the thing when I haven’t worn it for a while but putting it forward an hour worked a treat.
Quite perplexing really .
