    Thoughts on this Sub?

Following on from my papers or no papers thread, with the pemission of the seller to upload photos here, what’s everyone’s thoughts on this one?

Is the box correct (old style)?

    Thanks

    Berty

Not sure anyone will be able to give much of a view as the photos are out of focus.

They look better if clicked on, but not the greatest I know :)

i would ask the seller for clearer pics. if they do not come in, with or without a valid reason (can't think of any valid reason at all tbh), I would stay away.

My 2004 14060M came with a wooden box like that.

I think Rolex changed to the newer box shortly after I got it.

2005/2006 is when they changed to the new boxes.

Can't say anything about the boxes but the 14060 watch looks good to me.

I dislike the ROLEXROLEXROLEX-engraving on the rehaut on these later ones but that's just me.

When changes to the rehaut were made didn’t the case lose the lug holes or was that just the Explorer II and GMT? Or have I got that wrong..

No. 14060 was the exception. It always had lugholes and hollow end links... until the end of its production.

Thanks for the info, I never knew that.
Never took any notice before, just assumed that it was the same case as the Sub Date.
