Can we all just take a moment to consider how absolutely terrible that date magnification cyclops is.
His name is Martin Schneider of Swiss Military Watch. His efforts came to nothing as I successfully opposed his trademark application in the US and registered it myself, and I was also successful in getting the domains precista.com and precista.co.uk taken from him and transferred to myself.
You'd think he'd learnt his lesson but no, he's now marketing a "Dreadnought" watch but rather cleverly the watch itself is not marked "Dreadnought". Several dealers have been selling these through eBay and I've now successfully had 12 listings removed via the VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) program run by eBay.
It's a pity he doesn't have anything better to do.

$1869! Surely that can't be US dollars?
How much?
And the website is unnavigable on the iPhone with the instant click picture enlargement. Total dog's dinner.
Amusing that he is also trying to market a watch called the "Panzer" with references to Winston Churchill and the British Army ...
The range includes several expensive quartz watches and is devoid of any design flair or taste from what I can see ... probably why he feels the need to "borrow" stuff from other people.

Interesting that Swiss Military Watch appears to be insolvent
https://www.easymonitoring.ch/handel...pany-sa-773306
and it seems that he shouldn't be using "Swiss Military" either
https://schneiderfeldmann.ch/pages/e-news.html
But he's still at it

And was funded for this beauty on Kickstarter last year.

I wonder if Zodiac's intervention has anything to do with his "Seewolf" models? He should have tried using "Dreednort" instead.
I wonder if he and Mr McManus of the Vostok fame went to the same school.

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
What a batsard. Snider indeed.
The address and contact details at the bottom of his homepage are for Montres Charmex SA (link). They say:
The history of Montres Charmex SA goes as far back as 1926. This was the year when Max Bürgin started his apprenticeship in one of the leading watch factories near Basel, Switzerland. His exceptional talents soon caught the attention of the management - he was promoted and eventually made head of the technical department. What he really wanted though was to have his own watch business, pursuing the traditional art of manufacturing state-of-the-art timepieces. His dream finally came true and later on in 1989 his son Manfred Bürgin, today's President together with his wife Kathleen joined the by then prospering company. 1999 their son Frank M. Bürgin, today's CEO followed and thus continued the family's tradition. Manufacturing bespoke timepieces using but choice materials of the highest quality remains the credo of Montres Charmex SA to this very day.
Their listing (link) includes the SMW trademark, among others. Might they have bought the rights to SMW Swiss Military Watch Company SA?
He does do a nice Smyths everest though Eddie .
Apparently Schneider is no longer connected with SMW but he's still doing Tawatec and other bits. SMW have amended their website so it no longer says "Dreadnought", it's now the "Invincible".

How do you say "zum Kotzen" in English?
Hard to translate exactly, depends on the sentence, sickening or sucks could work.
It's like hitting a cockroach full of eggs, you squash it and they turn up in even greater force.
What a load of crap, invincible my arse.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
This one's still for sell on e-bay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Swiss...Md-X:rk:4:pf:0
Not the same I know, but this cropped for sale this morning on a French forum. 220 Euros if you're interested.

from their kickstarter campaign......
" Time for disruption has come. Be a leader, not a follower. "
So "disruption" means trying to sell overpriced ugly crap and by " leading instead of following" they mean try to piggyback on the succes of others......
for non native speakers english is a confusing language

Credit where credit's due, I don't think they pinched testing WR with a fire engine off anyone...

Whoa, now THAT’s some overpricing!
You’d think with all that income he could afford a proof reader to use commas in the prices rather than apostrophes.
It still says Dreadnought on this page, look at the last two watches:
http://www.swiss-military.com/models/navy.html
But what happens if you follow the links on those pages...www.swiss-military.com/models/navy/dreadnaught.html & www.swiss-military.com/models/navy/dreadnaught-tt.html?
It looks like Invicta and Swiss Legend had a horrible baby.
