TZ-Uk is not responding due to a long-running script,,

Something ain't right at the moment, tried using the site on a laptop and a tablet both win10 and TZ is at a snails pace with pages unresponsive and slow to load and the ''TZ-Uk is not responding due to a long-running script'' pop up ruining the experience.

Seems fine on my iPad Pro and iPhone, maybe it’s a Windows problem?

No problems on an old iPad. As said, might be a Windows problem?

It's OK on my work machine (Chrome on Windows 7) and my Android phone.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Its been happening to sporadically over the past few days - most recent occurrence was about 30 minutes ago.

I have to turn everything off and then on again to get it working.

I had this a while ago and a kind soul here recommended using Ghostery, which fixed the problem. I notice, as well, that while Ghostery lets through the ads on this site which look a bit like new threads, I don't get any of the pop-up and intrusive ads which folk have been complaining about.

Are you sure the devices aren’t downloading the latest humongous update, think it’s finally been released as one of my laptops spent the best part of 4 hours downloading and installing it.

God I miss the days of Netware where the patch was the actual changed microcode which was dynamically patches into each of the changes/updated files.

It's been posted many times before: if you can install the Ublock Origin & Privacy Badger browser extensions. If you want to go even further add NoScript as well, although that can be a bit intrusive until trained.

Try it in chrome using private browsing after a fresh restart.

I only use it via Tapatalk so rarely have any issues here.

TZ-UK does not work on Microsoft Edge anymore.
I have gone back to using Chrome.

Using W10 and Edge browser and getting the same script issue - it is painful. Going to look at ad blockers now to see if that fixes it

Windows 10 and edge has been a nightmare.
I tried using Opera and succeeded in getting myself locked out after 5 attempts. I was using the correct password, so I'm not sure why,

I have changed to Chrome and so far no long running script issues.

I'm getting this on a laptop running Windows Edge, but not on other devices running Mozilla... it's doing my nut in.

I have been having the same problem on Edge, but only on TZ-UK. Every other website is fine.

It looks like it is a TZ-UK problem.

I have cleared out cookies and also disabled the ad blocker but still the same.

Same here - Edge no longer likes it.
