    Clowning Around

Couple of cools pics of my Clown Fish enjoying their Anenome!!

There is something cool seeing them living happily together :D

This is the tank, a small 40l one that sits to the left of my desk at work... with the odd strap laying around of course!

Excellent pics, but how do you keep a marine tank that small? They're very tricky things needing osmotic filters and so on. The normal minimum marine tank is 48"x 18"x12".

It is tough to keep a small tank, called a Nano Tank BTW. Basically I do a 25% water change each week and check all levels and adjust accordingly... you get used to it after a while and everything is happy. In fact I need to get rid of some of the Pussy Coral in the bottom left corner as it's growing madly!! Tank is just over 2.5 years old.

Nice setup. I've never had the nerve to try a marine tank. I can get lazy sometimes and if I put off a water change for a month or ignore the tank from time to time, nothing bad happens. I don't think I could do that with a marine setup. I've always wanted to keep a puffer fish though, they are so cool.

    Re: Clowning Around

I have to admit that on occasions I can get lazy and the tank takes it with easy :D

I did have a lovely little Valentine Puffer early last year along with a couple of much smaller fish... full of character but ended up nipping everything else in the tank so he had to go :( Would love one again sometime!

Mate of mine has the same sized tank in his bedroom with a Scarlet Hawkfish... now those are freaky as they have no swim bladder so they don't "float" and just kind of perch on the rock :)

When I can be bothered, I;ll have a bigger tank either at the office or at home :D

always fancied a fish tank like that, but never really had the time or inclanation to do it.
Might try it at some point, i suppose the worse that could happen is they all die  .
    Thanks,
    Andrew
