    Curved end dive straps

Does anybody else find it a compete b&^$Łard to fit curved end dive straps onto their sub/dive watches?

Mine has the holes in the case lugs, so should be easier if anything....

What watch and strap? I've a Crafter Blue rubber strap that's tailored to fit a Samurai...it's a b*tch to fit (as is the standard bracelet) Once done though, it fits perfectly with no slack or gaps. Just wish it would be easier!

you've got that right jacinabox. The strap was bought by my brother and is made to fit the Submariner. (I think it was an American import).

I have one with holes in the lugs, which is a plus, but my god, it was hard to get it to fit.

It looks great when done, but the clasp (that resembles the modern design of the submariner bracelet) is no where near the quality, and any adjustment to it, is again very finicky.

The watch is now back on the bracelet.

Spring bar plyers are the way forward with these.

Hello Marcus - is that because the strap doesn't fit between the lugs, as i see its 20.5mm wide? Or just that you can get the spring bars into the holes?

I tell you what, my fingers are knackered after the marathon effort. Probably never again....

My problem was the spring bars.. just so difficult to get the ends into the holes...

I have similar struggles with my Sinn UX rubber straps, seems to need loads of pressure or 3 hands to do it. Getting better with practice, by the first time I was getting really fed up with the whole process!
