Help needed for perfect three watch collection one watch missing

Looking for some opinions - I have here a missing watch, illustrated by a pencil sketch, I would like a real watch to go in the gap there.

Criteria are - known brand, more dressy, prefer no date, think 36mm is probably too small, no dinner plates a tasteful size (8 inch wrist)

Can you help!? Pictures would be nice....

Speedmaster Moonwatch on a black leather strap. My wrist is 7.75 inches & it fits perfectly.

Depends on budget but some options:

    JLC Reverso
    Zenith 39mm elite
    Nomos Orion
    Rolex OP39 or 36

    I'd invest in a decent phone/camera first.

First thought looking at the photo was a moon watch.
Upon reading the criteria though ; Rolex OP 39

I had the speedy it was a real handsome piece, it felt a bit weird on leather, I used a hirsch rally maybe that’s why !

Some semi-reasonable, great options that come to mind:

—Rolex DateJust 41mm - fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet
    —JLC Master Ultra Thin 40mm
—Zenith Heritage Elite Ultra Thin 40mm
    —GO Senator Excellence 40mm

You’ve got a beater and a sport watch. You need a white dial dress watch on leather.

    LOL

... JLC has to be in the frame ?
I love the geophysic true second watch, just because it’s different, but it has a date.

Pretty much any of the nomos range.

Edit to add.. the g shock doesn’t count anyway, so you can always add a mechanical chronograph as well to make a proper 3 watch collection.

A nice Aqua Terra should fit the bill.

I think you have to have a number of posts and time served on the forum to view the sales posts - I can wait, I like to do my research and see what’s about and maybe even try some on ! That’s when it’s hard to resist

Agree with this. Never count my G-Shock or non-GS Seikos.

It should be a chronograph if you’re trying to tick as many boxes as possible with three watches. Surely a Daytona is on everyone’s three watch list?

Don't say that, I'm thinking about getting a Hirsch on a deployant clasp as an alternative to the £500 OEM item!

Not mine, I have a Speedy I love as a chronograph. I'd add a Hulk and an IWC Portugieser (did I spell that right). To me the Daytona dial looks unbalanced where the subdials have been placed low down to accommodate the text on the dial. But that's just me.

even without budget - I reckon an IWC portugueiser in there would be just about right

Not mine, I’d buy a Speedy Pro over a Daytona all day long.

Siysiy, the OP has shown us a photo of a 2.5 grand Tudor, a childs drawing and a G Shock worth 3 and sixpence - what makes you think a £6,500 IWC would "fit right in"?!

    Art classes?

Rolex OP would be my choice if in budget.

The max bill are super cool - I love the black dial one with tan strap and numerals, not too expensive either

Thinnish dress watch in leather, at whatever point in the price/value mix you’re comfortable.

This caught my eye recently - the longines military remake, doesn’t seem available at the moment though.

Your suspicions are correct, I am unlikely to be spending £6500 on the new addition ! Then it might become a two watch collection again.....Although Pre owned watches are always good

Why worry so much about the brand?

How about Eddie's soon to be released PRS 32? They look gorgeous in the photos and you've got a big wrist that would deal easily with its 16mm thickness. It'd give you variety in terms of being dressier, a white dial and a chronograph. Looks like it's going to cost around a grand so you'd be quids-in compared to most of the stuff mentioned above as well.

Nope. The Daytona wouldn’t be considered for one second. I’d probably get a Speedy or El Primero.

Fair point Mycroft - Although I own an IWC Portugeiser, I hadnt realised the cost was that much - I figured closer to £4k... and assumed it may be the next step up from the Tudor.

So forget my earlier suggestion.... sorry

Think they all mean Smiths (brand) PRS-32. Must be a new model, as I have not found a useful link.
