I’ve used Hoxton Macs in North London to buy a used IMac before, they specialise in used Macs and Macbooks , I don’t know if they would be interested but might be worth a phone call
Evening guys.
I currently have a 2013 Imac 27" which I have had for a few years and its been faultless.
Having just opened up a new office I am often travelling back and forth and the Imac is becoming redundant so I am wanting to 'trade' it in for a Macbook. Any recommendations on companies who offer this service?
I cant really be bother with the whole eBay sales process so would prefer the above. I still have the original box and packaging so posting wont be a problem either.

Macbank might be another place to approach - another specialist Apple reseller. I bought a Mac Pro from them a few years ago to replace an outgoing iMac (hey remember when you could get an iMac for £799?)
They may not be interested in a "swap" as you describe however they may offer you a more favourable part ex valuation if you declare your intention to take a Macbook from their stocks.

Apple themselves do a 'trade-in' option - probably not the best deal in the world but you can get an online quote via their website. There is always SC! Have a look at the refurbished section - which I have bought from and TBH the products are 'as new' and come with full Apple warranty.
I guess you are aware of the 'keyboard gate' fiasco with some MacBook models? I have a MacBook and bought a keyboard cover - also Apple will replace any faulty even outside of normal warranty period. keyboard-service-program-for-macbook-and-macbook-pro

They took a lot of pushing before they admitted they were crap keyboards, though. The other thing is that the keyboard is now poor for ‘feel’ and nothing like their iMac or previous MacBooks. I had a membrane cover from new on mine - and it failed at 13months. If you do get a MacBook - keep your Apple Bluetooth keyboard and lug that with you (if you are anything other than ‘hunt and peck’ typist)
I must say that I find the magic keyboard absolutely brilliant.

What about sticking it on the forum, Imacs always sell well here.

Thanks everyone, I will look in to it.
Happy to put a few hundred on top of the Imac for a new-ish model.
I actually have a Macbook Pro but my fiance uses that and I mainly use the Imac, the macbook has been great & that was purchased as a refurbished model so happy to go down that route again.
like others have said pop it on the SC.
i am currently looking to replace my aging Mac Mini with an iMac, so could be interested. Feel free to wing me over the spec/model number.
