I like it. Will there be a solid case back option?

Out of interest, how tall is the Tudor big block shown?

Wow. This is going to start getting expensive!

Do you plan to change anything? The Paul Newman in particular looks stunning.

Good god they are so damn pretty. On the bezel, not sure about the positioning of the 'units per hour', think I prefer it as per above and the Daytonas at the 1ish position.

I was also convinced the white dialled would be better, but now having seen the black one I'm not so sure....

Same here I think. I'm sure I said that I'd prefer a white-dialled one, but the black seems to have more depth. But the red markers on the outside of the dial seem clearer and more distinct on the white dial.

Any idea on timescales and price yet?

Both look lovely and are on my wish list.

Shame Eddie's not based in Essex, he could have called it the 'LEYTONA' ...

Even easier: there's a place near Barnsley called Darton. What's that, a 'Dartona'?

There's also 'Royston', 'Shafton', 'Blaxton', 'Norton' & 'Treeton' among others in Yorkshire...

I've already got a name but not saying anything until the trademark goes through, don't want to alert anyone who might object ;-)

    Looks great!
Have you considered a circular brushed bezel at a lesser gradient? A bit like the 79180 big blocks?

Love the white dial Eddie. I like the bezel idea suggested by Ar.parask to reduce the bling factor.

Both look fantastic to me. As much as I love the Tudor and the Newmans I'm glad the Smiths are not perfect homages. Have we a price?

I think they'd look better with a sans serif font on the sub dials. Similar to the bezel font.

    PRS-32 chronograph prototypes

Just saw a picture on Instagram with a smiths handheld chronograph called the RALLY TIMER.
Could this be the name? It might have some historic significane!
