Thread: Source for Rolex Boxes?

    Source for Rolex Boxes?

Does anyone know where you can buy an original Rolex box? I have a Rolex 16710 that I bought that was missing the box and am just trying to make it a bit more full set, I bought one off eBay but it was so obviously fake it was laughable, I just want an original small box that was supplied with Stainless steel professional models from about 2006.

I'm going to St.James in London this week to pick up a Coke bezel for it, I don't suppose they sell them?

How much is a bezel insert if you don’t mind me asking ? Seen lots of fakes on eBay but didn’t know Rolex actually sold you one as an accessory

I believe it's about £60 if you want to keep your old one as well, which I do, they fit it for you too.

That won't sell you bezel as a takeaway accessory, they will only fit on for you. Not sure of the price but you can pay extra to retain the old one.

If you know the correct Rolex code for the box you need you will find plenty on Chrono 24 with reputable sellers.

Thanks for that, I believe it's a 30.00.71 reference box I'm looking for

I recently bought a Rolex box on ebay from a seller in Japan, luckygorilla. It's a 81.00.09 from the early 90s and came with the outer box including the stickers for model reference and dial colour. He's got loads of boxes listed Buy It Now but accepted a 'Best Offer' for mine. I'm 100% sure it's genuine and arrived 4 days after I made payment.

Have used this for reference in the past, very useful indeed.

The following may help but variations do occur so don't take the info as 100% correct.

This seller has been around a while and I’ve had a few off him over the years.

    He gets quite a lot.

Delivery two - three weeks as he is in the Far East. He advertises on the Rolex Forums.

    No affiliation what so ever.

Thanks I'll drop him a mail, Chrono24 seem to have every box other than the one I want

And don't forget that, in very many cases, the shop assistant will have just grabbed the nearest box to put the watch in, with no knowledge/concern/interest in whether it was the "correct" one or not.
