ETA 2824 - what to do with a knackered case?

I've had an Ollech and Was divers watch for about 10 years and it's survived many attempts to sell it, much modification (fails!) by me and it's still running strong and currently looks fab, lots of wabi on the insert etc.

The crown tube was replaced some years ago and it's knackered again, and rather than spend another £80 on getting it replaced and a new crown etc. I'm again weighing up my options.

Sell the 2824 movement and bin the case? Seems a bit of a shame, I might get £100 for the movement I guess...

Replace the case? With a £30 knock off submariner case? Might be ok but looking for some inspiration!

Would be a shame to ditch it, personally I'd find a new case for it (loads on eBay and doesn't have to be a sub-alike)
