Valuation of my 14060 - help me out please

Guys, after quite some abstinence (you might have noticed or not) I play with the thought of trading/swapping my 14060 for something else (probably Rolexy). Because of said abstinence I absolutely have no clue how to value it fair and realistic.

Ive got box and papers (W serial, warranty dated mid 1996), not serviced recently but keeps time within COSC specifications as far as Ive measured lately.

At the moment I use a bezel insert with Luminova pearl, but I also have the original one, although the pearl isnt perfect anymore, thats why I changed it.

Any ideas would be very welcome and of course much appreciated!

    Thats the watch btw:

    Cheers,
    Oliver

They've absolutely plummeted since you've been away.

I'll do you a favour and give you 500 for it.

OK, even though I was absent... that's an offer I have to reject unfortunately ;-)

    Ok, fair enough.

With box, papers and a service in the recent past you should be looking between 5k - 5.5k.

    Don't sell it!

    Thanks! Appreciate it :)
I simply dont't want to screw someone over and to be honest, if I decide to put it up for trade I'd prefer a TZ-UK trade over anything else!

With papers definitely worth more than that... like almost 6K, imho.

These have gone up lately. How do I know? Because I just recently bought a 16600. Impossible to find the bargains anymore.

Yeah on here it’s early 5’s i reckon, could easily be 6k plus in a shop window. Also depends on bracelet stretch and case condition. When you consider MW is retailing out of his shop a NOS sub date 16610 for 7.5, you can see this sits in the low 5’s in my humble opinion.

As with everything, condition is all. 14060's have moved upwards like all sports vintage Rolex. Dealers are selling at 6k now and with those lugs albeit from 1 photo this is not a 5k watch private sale to me. Nice watch but 4k gbp ish. You did ask and thats my take. Glwts

I appreciate your take and up until now I didn't decide to sell or not ;-)
It definitely was worn and not a safe queen... and that's not a downside in my book

If you're selling this for 4K, I'll buy it right now. Haha.

    5k

    Serviced by Rolex - 5250-5750

    Best estimates imo
It's just a matter of time...

A dealer gave me 5k for mine a couple of months ago. It was a 14060 in nice condition with B&P. Just like yours really. Youll maybe get a couple of hundred quid more private sale on here. Hardly worth the risk though when dealers are currently paying very good money for sport Rolex.
