    Breitling SteelFish, men's watch

I've owned this for over 10 years and it never ceases to amaze me.

I owned one for a while, thought it was a super watch that I regret letting go.

The successor wasn't bad but I find it a bit boring and mundane. Never understood why they ceased the production of this old model.

    Cheers.

Iíve just picked up the earlier version of this, 1999 model - I have been impressed with the build quality of all the Breitling Iíve owned. They have some styling aspects more recently that donít gel with me, but theyíre good bits of kit.
And yours is a cracking looking one. :)

Always liked the Steelfish and Breitling in general. Cracking watch!

Iíve always liked them but generally preferred the SeaWolf although Iíve read a few articles that the crown stem/tube on the SeaWolf forms part of the middle case and if there are any problems such as cross threading Breitling have to replace the middle case. This always put me off keeping a SeaWolf long term and Iím wondering whether this applies to the Steelfish as well?

I had a black dial SF on Breitling leather & deployant for a few years but sold it on here. I still miss it now and again (like now, reading this thread!). Built like a tank.

Nice chunky divers watch and not too blingy one of their better models

Yes indeed. I like all Breitlings that have brushed finish. Navitimer Fighter's Edition is the coolest of the series, Blackbird and the new Chronomat B01 blue with brushed case.

It's just a matter of time...

Only thing I donít like is the slanty centre links. Never could get my head round that aesthetic. If I bought one I think Iíd try it on mesh or perhaps the Breitling rubber.
