Today, I am delighted to say that I met someone in public life who I admire greatly : Prof Daniel Dennett
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Dennett
I would have liked to have spent a short while discussing his work. His book "Intuition Pumps & Other Tools for Thinking" is a great introduction to his views on the philosophy of consciousness and thought.
Regrettably it was in the short stay car park at LHR Terminal 3 - and he thought I was his Uber driver.
Oh well.
He seems to be an exceptional academic.

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
I like reading his work - relaxing in some way I find. Sweet dreams and inside humour are good light reading
Not as profound as Russell or Wittgenstein but thought generating :-)
You are indeed a lucky man to see the person.
