Not seen it but he normally wears a Reverso, is it that shape?
Anyone know what watch Ronnie’s wearing in the snooker. It’s on a green nato, black dial?

Looks like one of the IWC "Mark" 3-handers, possibly on an aftermarket (canvas?) strap.
Looks good
Just made my list for ‘the next watch’. Looks smart indeed
No doubting it is a nice watch but I've always believed the players should wear a dress(ier) watch. I think his Reverso was just about perfect for the job.
IWC Mark XVIII Edition “Tribute to Mark XI”
Dark clothes and the olive/black watch looks good imo. It's not a NATO, you can see the stitching nr the lugs. If he had a steel or tt watch it could be a bit 'flash'. A rose gold reverso on a black strap I would go for but for now I think the olive works. Didn't IWC do a 'Top Gun' series on military type straps?

This flieger has one.

That is the tribute, looks like hes taken it off the nato-great watch limited to 1948 pieces!
Nice watch on a bit of tatty cloth in my opinion, definitely doesn’t suit the snooker look. Put it on a decent black leather and it would look fine.
Definite fashion faux-pas as it stands.
Didn't Stephen Hendry used to wear a Deep Sea while playing?

The Rocket has started strong in todays final.
Looks like he still wearing the IWC.
What a match, wins again after his first win 30 years ago, that’s some time to be at that level.
Posted this in the BP in error as also wanted to recognise this guy.
I don't know too much about snooker but surely has to be one of Britains greatest ever sportsman.
UK champion again at 47 tonight, won it first at 17!
Complete one off genius.

I was just saying this to my wife. Unbelievable player. This last few frames of snooker were brilliant, especially the final few balls where it looked like he might come unstuck
On a trivial note not related to his watch- I always thought it was great that evidently Ronnie O’Sullivan had a lorry turn up unannounced one day and it was delivering a huge painting which was a gift from his friend Damian Hirst.
Hirst had made Ronnie a spot painting which was the same size as a snooker table and the spots were positioned in the identical position of the balls when Ronnie then completed his famous 147 in 5 minutes.
Apparently due to the size Ronnie had to knock down an internal wall just to hang it up.
He's certainly the best snooker player of all time, as to the sportsman part that gets you into the "is it a sport" debate ... much like darts ...
He's the only player I would give up time to watch (which was helped by yesterdays poor weather) he's style and approach to the game is different to the rest of the players.
Just googled that ... https://www.ardmore.co.uk/blog/art-of-snooker/
Nice to have your own personal Hirst ...
Its goos to still see the old names playing,I wonder how good the others are nowadays.
I was surprised last week when an article on his Dad turned up.
When Ronnie won his 7th World title, it was his 21st Triple Crown title. That World Championship was the 147th Triple Crown tournament, which meant that Ronnie had won exactly 1/7th of them.
His era of 30 years is over 50% of the history of the professional modern game, he's not just the greatest player, but the history of the game is mostly the history of Ronnie O'Sullivan: he's been in the field for 88 of the 151 Triple Crowns and won 22 of them.
After he's stopped playing his shadow will last for decades.
He is an absolute legend, snooker ability off the scale, and I’m sure most of you know it isn’t an easy game as he makes it look.
He is also a great ambassador for the game, and takes many a young player under his wing.
Truly gifted

He’s truly a legend without par
Back in the late 90’s an old boss of mine had been a manager of a Sunday league footy team that Ronnie’s dad had played for in the 80’s. He said after home games they’d all go into the club house which had a snooker table, and people would gather round to watch a young Ronnie - at times stood on beer crates - potting ball after ball. Said it seemed clear even then he go on to be a professional. His natural talent combined with his longevity makes him unquestionably the greatest ever, I find it astonishing that anyone can be as good at snooker as these guys are - it’s such a bloody hard game!
Regarding the watch, he wears the same one in the Amazon doc about him that came out recently, you can see it really clearly during some of the fly on the wall stuff, except he has it on a leather strap.
