Hi all,
I'm in the market for an Omega PO. As I'm based in Dublin it is an easy trip to NI to take advantage of cheap sterling rather than have the hassle of taking a flight. I'm looking for recommendations for a good AD and also maybe a good used watch trader as I would preferably go used/ nearly new to avoid taking the full depreciation hit.
Thanks,
Daragh

Lunns in Belfast, Queens Arcade branch, speak to Gavin and see if he can do anything, they may also have some pre owned.
Also try Jonathan Stiles at Mercers in Enniskillen, hes a good guy and you can talk to him. They dont have an online presence so no idea what they have pre owned.
As far as purely pre owned goes there are none that i can think of, McNeillys in Belfast might have something but anything they have had in the past i thought were priced high.
McNeillys jewellers in Belfast have interesting vintage range, ask for William.
Lunns are the only Omega AD in Belfast, and they happen to have this is in pre-owned stock now: https://www.lunns.com/pre~owned-watc...ega/0870510353
Pre-owned Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 232.30.46.21.01.001
The Seamaster Planet Ocean is a perfect blend of craftsmanship and technical excellence. This timepiece comes with original box and guarantee. It has been refurbished with a service and a new glass has been fitted. It comes with a 2 year guarantee. Image shown is of actual watch.
£3,450 for a 2012 black dial/bezel PO. 45.5mm though, so a chunky beast, and not the newest METAS movement.
Lunns tend to be highly-priced for pre-owned stock, but it's serviced and with 2yr guarantee. At their Victoria Square branch, a few mins walk from their other branch, or they can transfer stock for viewings.
Jonathan Styles of Mercer’s in Enniskillen is an Omega AD. He is a lot more realistic on pricing than Lunns if you are buying new. I have used him a few times and he undercut Iconic on price when I bought a Speedy Pro from him. He also has some second hand watches but as stated he doesn’t have an online presence. Best to give him a call and have a chat.
Lunns have two branches in Belfast but only the Queens Arcade one stocks Omega. The branches are only a 5 minute walk apart.
Thanks for all of your replies guys.
I did check out Lunns online and they do seem a bit expensive.
Will definitely follow up with Mercers.
Thanks again
