They’ve mistaken a 16610LV with a 116610LV
Have we got a Sun reporter amongst us or did someone here snitch to them?

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
Also what’s going on with that BLNR in their pic? Looks like one of those Bamford-type custom jobbies. Maybe that’s why they can’t decide on the value.
What a poor website - I initially thought this was a spoof someone had made up on here.
Possibly Russian internet misinformation fed to the Sun to bring down the political hot bed that is TZ UK
Cheers

Ralph Waldo Emerson: We ask for long life, but 'tis deep life, or noble moments that signify. Let the measure of time be spiritual, not mechanical.
They clearly needed to give the intern something to do. I'm surprised an editor passed that for publication. Total garbage.
What's ' The Sun' - no one in North West England has ever heard of it...
Couple of observations :
A) they've spelt stefs name wrong
B) if they start getting their political views from ally then we're all fnucked
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
So a multi millionaire wears a few Rolex in quick succession - big deal, who cares.
I take it valuations are from Watchfinder
Well, at least he's genuinely interested in watches; that's a plus in my book. Mind you, I've only watched the Apprentice once...quite enough for one lifetime.
Hope we won't get any of the rug readers joining as the result of such publicity...

Who’s this stefualkner they’re quoting 😃

The Mail has picked up on this important story now too. I don't think that between them they have managed to get all the watches correct but I'm not checking.
It'll be the immigrants.
Lord Sir Alan seems to be channelling the stereotype of a "total jerk" Rolex owner, waving them ostentatiously in everyone's face. Very, very uncool.
I don't think Alan Sugar has ever presented himself as a cultured and polite gent; he's a 'geezer' and always has been. The Rolexes are perfect for him.
Fair comment. He's clearly got zero imagination - Rolex are the mere foothills of horology, and I speak as a Rolex fan and owner.
He's got more than enough money to get into some seriously interesting watches - Moser, Laurent Ferrier, De Bethune, Voutlainen, MB&F, Roger Smith, et al. Even vintage PP/Rolex would be encouraging. But no. Serial, unimaginitive, boring contemporary Rolex. Yawn.
The total cost of those watches is far less than the single engined plane he pilots himself to and from London.
Stupid article , he's into his Rolex , he can afford them , good on him.
I went off him when he changed his name from Alan to Lord.
I'm quite looking forward to the next iteration of this story by another paper. The Mail managed to correct the photos of the Yachtmaster, but they didn't pick up that the Daytona's wrong and they tried, bless them, to correct the GMT but still got the wrong model.
If we give a journalist infinite time on a watch forum they might eventually get it all correct.
In the late 1980s I was the Joint MD of a printing factory and met Alan (as he was in those days) a few times.
We produced the brochure for his first computer which included taking the pics in our in house studio.
He only had one prototype which was the wrong colour and this was the days before Photoshop.
However good old fashioned skilled retouching in our repro department saved the day.
Some people really are stealing a living aren’t they
Do you not think that an important part of it for Sir Alan is wearing things that other people know are expensive. Rolex fits the bill perfectly.
I've no idea, but he needs to step up his game if that's true. A PP Gondolo tourbillon would look so much better with a suit than a bunch of cheap steel sports watches. He's a peer of the realm, not some City trader.
