    Which watch box?

    Good evening gents,

My missus just offered to get me a watch box for Christmas (bless her, she's more than understanding with this hobby). I'm thinking about something for 8 watches, not sure if wood or leather. Anything you'd care to recommend? If you've a picture or a link, even better.

    Many thanks,
    Christian

Wolf do some nicer ones, but it depends how much you want to spend. I'd say these are 'mid range' pricewise, the quality is good but the leather is still fake (though very nice).

    I have a windsor https://www.wolf1834.com/category/wi...t-collections/

    Very much price point driven!

Wolf and Rapport are good but my favourite is the Vantage by Buben & Zorweg

Debenhams have a couple in store.
Not that keen myself at £49 and a cheaper one by jasper conrad?

Worth a look and feel to see what is out there.

I have a wooden Hillwood watch box, not inexpensive but a thing of beauty.

Oddly enough I was looking at these earlier and thought they would make great watch storage, cheaper than watch specific ones and complete with foam so you can decide the layout.

Rainer Schuster (finestboxes on eBay) is great to deal with and the products are excellent quality.

At the cheaper end, I bought the top one here awhile ago and really like it - doesn’t feel that cheap and looks pretty good.

Only issue is having bought a thick pam recently it doesn’t fully close, but that doesn’t bother me too much.

Got this box too, really like the only problem with mine is the grids inside have different sizes, so some pillows fit tight and some feel loose.

I just took delivery of this, which given the cost, is surprisingly ok! It opens well on the hinges and the lacquer finish is pretty decent as well, with only the slightly loose keepers and fabric quality as negatives.

I’ve got a Jacob Jones 8 watch box. Very good quality for the price with snug fitting large cushions that’ll keep larger watches.

They’re available from multiple retailers including the usual suspects.

Many thanks for all the kind recommendations, there's lots to chose from now. Will let you know what I went for, presuming that I don't forget (it's been known to happen).
