    Rolex 1680 listed on eBay

    Hello guys,

what do you think about this 1680? Central hand should be thinner in my opinion.

    First impressions,
bezel insert is hokey, the bezel ring looks too new vs the case condition (so possibly the entire assembly is snide)
crystal profile looks weird to me, i've not got my 1680 so i wouldn't quote me on that.

and the rotor looks like a parts bin special.

    Risks

Too many risks within the vintage watch market and in particular the Rolex sports sector, were many sellers are looking to cash in on the current bubble with watches which may not be the sum of all parts.

In this market always buy the seller first and even then tread carefully, with the money involved in some of these pieces. Any Rolex vintage i have bought over the years, i have always ensured it had been serviced by RSC recently before buying, giving you some piece of mind that Rolex had been over this and authenticated all parts etc.

Because yeat of production and year of sale might not be the same thing?

As for full set. It doesn't even have its strap
