Possible Black Friday overload?
What's wrong with SC?!
Anybody else have problems with eBay?, I have just listed a few watches for sale and the bloody page was crashing every 30 seconds or so!!, it might be because of my old ipad2 but Jesus wept it was a painful experience.......I don't like the new look either.
ba humbug.

I’ve had loads of problems using safari on iPhone, no problems with google chrome though on my laptop

Yep safari and an iPad simon, it was painful.

Sat diver using ipad2!!! Lean times in the bin obviously
It may be worth asking advice on the pricing by PM, I`m sure a few of the good buddys could help. I`ve done this in the past when unsure how to price a watch.
As for SC, still think it's OK, but the sacred rule of not spoiling sales threads comes under pressure all too often.
Paul
Please show me where Eddie wrote this sacred rule.
I am genuinely sorry for Mike who is one of the very good guys here, if he feels this way. I suspect he hasn’t anything to fear from any spoiling anyway, but it is true that the atmosphere is more tense than it used to be.

Depends what you want. If you’re a dealer as per Eddie’s rules, and you act accordingly there is no problem. On the other hand, if you’re flogging a franken, or adding 20 % on a watch you bought here (with accompanying sob sorry) or on eBay last week I understand it can be upsetting.
It is difficult to find the right balance. It is possible that it has overstepped the mark.
But I am not sure this is what Mike was alluding too, although I understand Paul’s angst.

Let's all just be cool like fonzy, to be fair, SC is fine for most sales, I just wasn't sure on pricing and thought eBay would find the market price, as it is the bloody offers have been crazy 32 offers within 2 hours of posting.
anyway let's all just get on,
mike
Ebay is a pain on ipad since they've altered it all ... been doing my swede in all week listing things.
Rather than use safari on an iPad use the native app to list on eBay (iPhones and android devices too)
