Good luck pal, for me probably the banker of the Festival is Envoi Allen on Wednesday.

Tiger roll and paisley park should be the bankers over the next few days .if your serious about it join as many online bookies as possible for their freebet offers .you can always delete the apps after the festival is over

Had a half decent festival this year.
Some great tips and blind luck made it one to remember .

Stayed away until the final day. Glad I did as Tiger Roll would have been my banker.

My only bet was a decent sized one on Al Boum Photo for the Gold Cup...

Had my best festival ever. £780 on Tuesday (at course), didn’t bet Weds, £350 Thu (at course) and then had a random bet in the last yesterday with £20ew on the winner at 33/1 returning £880. Annoyingly it was 40’s and dropped just as I put it on.

Overall profit £1500 all with Bet365. I only opened the account on Sunday and expect to have limited bets going forward with them.

A good festival but tough to pick winners, had it been a week later it would’ve been cancelled. Hobbs really did have a stinker and the Mullins / Townhend convo did well Thu onwards. Will be a shame if Tiger Roll can’t get a hat-trick as Aintree will likely be off.

So were you betting on course with on course bookmakers or with an online Bet365 account?

Online, but was at the racecourse in person.

Apologies, was up at 5am to get the last day of the river fishing season in and brain not working.

I stay away from gambling as I always lose, I have an addictive personality at the best of times so stay clear.

I’ve never had a big win with on course bookies. I’d love to see the whites of their eyes when they have to pay out!

Hahaha agreed. Although a few horses (Benie and Tiger Roll) saved them this year from being battered

I’ve only had it once in the last race at the International when a 25/1 came in and I had £20 on it. Basically wiped out his profit for the day as two others had backed it too.

I can’t see them being there much longer to be honest. Online bookies typically give better odds and extra places for handicaps that it’s a no-brainer really. Plus when the weather is cold and miserable it’s easier to get your phone out your pocket.

I have been in the pub a couple of times while this has been running, not once tempted to have a bet. A friend of mine has spent a fortune (and won quite a bit) this festival but I've not even been tempted to chuck halves with him.
That's a big deal, I have more than my share of vices and gambling has always been my downfall.

If there had been a horse with a name that really resonated with me I'd have happily had a fiver, but I haven't been studying form and trying to convince myself of "bankers". No such thing.

I don’t think most bookies are likeable people. Me and my mates still laugh at Gary Wilshire losing his shirt when Frankie roode all the winners at Ascot. I also watched a documentary following Barry Dennis I think it was. Not a nice guy either.

You’re right, online bookies give a better offering. The majority of them do best odds which counts for a lot for me. The only High St bookie that does that is BetFred.

This tells me all I need to know about how well the odds are stacked.
His watches shouldn’t have to tell you, the edge in favour of the house isn’t a secret, the information is clearly displayed in each casino.

Given that all sports seem to be suspended at the moment, what are the bookies using to keep the cash flowing? Or are they taking time off as well?

On the flip side, when I win and people want to share in my good fortune, I ask them whether they’re willing to chip in to cover some of my losses when I lose...

I love playing basketball for a long time and I've learned a lot in this sport. Therefore, I know some strong teams and I place sports bets with this sports partner http://reverencerupert.org/ betting company in Canada. This is quite popular, is reliable and pays the full amount earned and sometimes also adds more money for accuracy in your forecast.

Many years ago a professional gambler I knew who was a bit of a spiv and a hero to us teenagers showed me how to be a big winner when it came to gambling.

He took me into the local bookies, told me to pick a horse, showed me how to fill in the slip, my bet was ten bob to win and if I remember correct it was 6/1 odds (wow win three quid).

The horse lost and more importantly I lost my ten bob :( the pro then told me to never gamble again and that way I would be thousands in pocket over my life time, a real WINNER :), never forgot his advice or losing my ten bob and it more than likely saved me thousands over the years but I do have a lucky dip on the lottery every week.

1% of people will make long term profits gambling .The biggest problem then is getting your bets on ,bookmakers close accounts at the drop of a hat ,early horse prices put up by bookmakers are the biggest joke .It takes intelligence ,knowledge, and discipline to make money ,most people lack at least one of those .most people just come in a bookies and bet race too race till their skint then go home ,or pick same 6 teams on coupon every week .It's all about the price but most don't realise this

I am pretty sure that online gambling is considered as any kind of gambling that is performed over the internet. Same as sports betting. Be it virtual poker, casino or cash games, all of them come under the category of online gambling and sport betting over here

what would he have done if you'd won and ended up an inveterate gambler?

Is there still a matched betting scene or have the bookies effectively stamped it out?

Not been on it for ages. I started around 2014 until maybe 2018 but I was down to scraps and gubbed pretty much everywhere :(

It has been worked out mathematically that long term they will make far more from you than you will from them.

Its all in the odds calculations, the maths is hidden in there.

The odds they give you look ok at first glance but in reality they actually stink and are heavily in their favour

Hello! From my point of view, the sportsbook reviews algorithm is best. It’s an algorithm for betting prediction that provides more accurate outcomes for goal ratio, and winning rate, and much more.

I remember how much I was opposed to gambling but my friend advised me to try it on BetSofa and I wasn't disappointed. I like slot machines playing and sports betting either. It's awesome when you can earn extra money with your hobby. There are a lot of casinos and bookies throughout the Internet but not many are reliable. Don't throw your money after bed and try to play on BetSofa.
