    Nice try, but no. Sapphire as it should be. The etched bottom of the crystal seems to ensure a better fit in the gasket. The crystal is fully seated though...

    So what’s different?

    Different springbars? First picture they show more and look like screw in ends?

    Both pictures show the identical change on the watch...it’s not before and after.

    Let’s say owners of this specific watch are more likely to spot the difference...

    I see now, a difference from original, not between photos.
    In that case.......
    Yours has a brushed crown, not polished as it was supplied???
