    Seiko 6309 7040 bracelet

Pondering over best fit bracelets for my 6309 7040 led me to search tz for feedback on options, of which I found none. Just wondering if anyone has any experience on best fit oyster or jubilee options please. Of course the neater the ends are the better!!

    Thanks in advance, David

I have one with hollow end pieces that tapers to 18mm at the clasp. I'm not sure what make it is other than it's a well known name in aftermarket Seiko bracelets (hopefully someone will come along who'll know!).

I have another one which tapers to 20mm and feels too wide. Undoubtedly better made, with solid end pieces, but the lack of decent taper kills it for me.

Uncle Seiko bracelets are very good.

I've got the Z199 bracelet (similar to jubliee) and it's brilliant – very thin and comfortable and tapers down to 16mm so proper vintage style. The ends fit OK, at least, they've never bothered me. With a case as old as the 6309 there's always going to be slight variations so it's never going to be 100% perfect.

He does a President, a beads of rice and a super oyster, that all taper to 20mm.

Just took a look. That beads of rice bracelet looks very good!

I have the Uncle Seiko Z199 for my 7548-700b, dithered over that and the beads of rice and went for the more authentic look. It is pretty good and comfortable, but should be for the price. However the tone of the metal is different, duller, than the watch case, but I suppose that is to be expected given age etc.
