A 1964(!) documentary about WW1. An old German telling -in perfect English- about his experiences during the war. Incredible, moving and one the most compelling interviews ever why war is so terrible. I'd posted it under the They Shall Not... threat, but it needs its own threat.
Makes you very quiet... A Dutch journalist uses the word Fratricide. Perhaps he has a point!

That was quite something.
I've just watched the 32 minute version of the interview that your clip was taken from. Quite incredible to hear about the conditions and the level of artillery and shelling in some battles.
Can only be described as a living hell surely.
