    What's missing?

I've recently sold a few Seiko divers (turtles and SKXs) to get the blue Seiko SBDC053 and to consolidate my collection to a small number of wearable watches that cover most of the bases.
I'm happy with these four but I also feel I could do with just one more as there's something missing. Maybe a watch with a white dial, maybe a watch with numbers such as a field watch or a pilot watch. Perhaps a white pilot watch or a marine watch?
Or I could sell the grey Frederique Constant and keep the number to four and the new watch could cover dress watch duties?

You need a Sinn in that lineup for sure.

I've had a few Sinn watches over the years when they were more affordable but they've gone a bit too high in price for me now.

Maybe a white 104 if I was to get one now.

Not a bad shout, I have been looking at these but I'm not sure I want another dark watch, but then again, maybe the grey FC dress watch is enough light dials in a small collection.

    Yup, white dial marine -- Stowa Marine Original . . . .

Or, better yet, a Dornblüth 99.1

Stunning watch, not sure I could afford a Dornblüth but I could get the Stowa. I had the MO but on my small wrist the Marine classic 40 would be a better fit.
Stowa do one with white dial and also a silver dial.

PRS -25 is shortly to be available with a pale dial, but also check out the PRS29-AM.
Pale, Piloty and totally different to what you have, it makes a very credible filed watch unless you need lume

Thanks Dave, that's another great looking watch. My wrist is 6.75" and the 36mm should wear well but I'm not used to wearing anything smaller than the watches I have now, if it was 40mm it would be perfect.

I had a Tissot Visodate but I thought the hands were slightly too short and I didn't like the day/date on the dial.
I'm toying with selling the FC and getting a no date Stowa Marine now.
I'd still have 4 watches but I'm not sure I need a dedicated dress watch.
Also I'd have a German watch to go with 2 Swiss and 1 from Japan. I'd wear the Stowa more than the FC (I'm yet to wear it) and it would do for dressier occasions.

Ditch the FC and buy a Grand Seiko Spring Drive. One with a white or cream dial will round out your collection nicely.

That's gorgeous but out of my price range I'm afraid.

    Thanks for letting me know.
I think I fancy another Seiko after seeing that Grand Seiko above but I might have to settle for something in the Presage range.

The Presage watches are great value for money. If Spring Drive is out of your price range GS do the exact same watch as above but in Quartz for 2K less. Reference SBGV205.

Thanks for letting me know, not usually a fan of quartz but I'll look into it as it's such a lovely looking watch.
