I'm in the process of moving from Bulb to Pure Planet.
To be honest, I switch on price. Bulb were fine but the latest increase was 30+% for gas which just made it uncompetitive.
Pure Planet are 100% renewable electricity and 100% carbon offset gas. Minor gripe is you have to manage your account via an app - not even online from a desktop.
We will see what the service is like in due course.
The site does say "It's likely that we'll need to increase our Members' rate in the near future" so chances are I will be looking round again before long!
If anyone wants to switch to Pure Planet, I have a code that gets us both some small gift (Amazon voucher or similar).
I was with So Energy a few years ago. Rather unremarkable experience if I remember - silent running, just as you want it.
They supplied gas/leccy and I paid them for it. Nothing else springs to mind.
