Anybody used them for watch insurance?
Usually had to my home insurance, but this time I need to try a different provider. Any experiences? The price seems reasonable £15 a month or so. Including loss, theft, worldwide cover, no excess.
Any other recommendations? I am asking for a rolex gmt ceramic.
Just had a quick look and it seems that all claims will be paid by gift card. There are no replacements and no cash payments for claims. That might be ok if you can find a retailer stocking the brand you want that accepts the card, but I believe that most dealers refuse these cards for certain brands, notably Rolex. So, for example, you could get your Rolex stolen and then not be able to replace it.
I understand they are valid at aurum group. So was hoping I could guy a replacement Rolex with it?

It would seem not. This is from Goldsmiths but presume it’s the same for the whole group.
