Never understood the significance of that date to Patek but the watches always seem to stop on it, I wonder why???

The Pelagos seems quite popular this week.

With all the white dialled loveliness of the 29AM, I have been feeling lately to get into the white dialled groove- I think it is easier for me to see with ever decreasing eyesight, followed up by the Max Bills on this thread, decided to have a look at a very erratic Max Bill of my own. It was +40s a day, demagnetised down to -10s a day.

Now running at a very respectful -1s a day

Remarkably, your watch is set to exactly the same time and date as the version that I tried at a recent 2018 Patek exhibition collection event. I couldn’t take it off my wrist either...but unfortunately I had to give it back before I left.

I am wearing this and thanks to Ian [velorum] it’s sporting this brown strap which out of the blue he sent to me with a little note.

    A very king gesture.
