Must have been the last of a leftover batch as they’re out of stock now :(

Try the UK version of the site as they are still available.

It seems to be a pre-order.

Rubicon also sell what appears to be their own branded version which seems worth a punt

Shame it's a green dial, but if that's your thing, I'd agree. Black dial at that price I'd have been tempted.

Strangely, the stock level for the Pulsar keeps going up, not down!

This is nice enough, but I'll get out my wallet when they reissue these:

Did anyone else order one of these and receive an email today to say that Pulsar have changed the spec so it's now 41.5mm with 22mm lugs and looks like this:

I'll be rejecting and getting a refund. Never mind.

I did, i wanted the original spec so have cancelled my order.. Rubicon were excellent in dealing with this by the way.

So if any- one wants one they have one back.

Kept my eye on this one but the page on Rubicon has been down for at least a week. Before that they had stock levels showing. I now doubt the originals were ever available. Seems like someone cocked up somewhere along the line...

I also requested a refund. I do no think I would have enjoyed the larger case size and especially the 22mm lug width.

I agree that Rubicon is handling this well. Sounds like they are genuinely disappointed in how this turned out.

I appreciate their offer to ship the new watch with a £40 refund for the inconvenience, but just have doubts that I'd like the larger size.

I also appreciate the way they dealt with this, especially as they offerred to ship the watch with a pre paid return envelope if i did not then want it.
Even so i chose to cancel as it was the original specs i was after.

Mind you, i will look to them in future, if they have some-thing i want i would happily buy from them having seen tbe way they deal with issues. First rate.

They've only dealt with it in exactly the way they are legally obliged to, i.e. they've taken everyone's money in lieu of watch A. Then watch A turns into watch B. Now they're offering a refund. What were they going to do, keep the money and say tough?

Looks bad on Pulsar though if what Rubicon is saying is true. I certainly won't bother in future.

You are a ray of sunshine! :)

They responded withing the hour to my e-mail. This is good customer service.
They refunded me within the hour. So is this.
They offerred a pre paid envelope should i have chosen to view the watch prior to making my mind up so i could return it for a refund. Nice of them.
They also offerred a £40 refund if i chose still to keep the watch. Rather nice too.

I do think they deserve a shout out for how this is being dealt.

I thought I had one of the early ones, turns out it's a Lorus!!

I have an old Pulsar faux dive watch though that goes well!

In the interests of balance they took 6 days to action my refund when I cancelled my order, and then only after I had chased several times through PayPal. I then had to wait several more days to actually receive the refund. Not a company I’ll be dealing with again.

And that’s without even getting into how they managed to buy or commission a watch with the wrong specs, and take pre-orders for a watch they will never have.

Interesting. It looks more like the Gen 2 version of the Pulsar.

It's huge! I kind of like that bezel, though. Did anyone decide to keep it? I'd love to see a review with lots of photos.

I've been unsure of having a running central seconds hand with the original smaller size, but on this bigger version it just seems tacky.

I believe there was a problem with these watches with the RAF. They were not well made and could fall apart in flight. It is just something I have read on the internet so maybe wrong. Does anybody know the facts?
